Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat
Sage channel-tufted velvet · paisley printed seat · solid ash base · gold accents
Most patterned chairs put the print everywhere and end up shouting. This one puts it in exactly one place. The barrel back is channel-tufted in soft sage velvet, each flute stuffed and stitched individually so the fan stays even across the curve, and the round seat drum below it is upholstered in a grey and gold paisley, cut and matched so the pattern runs unbroken round the whole circumference. Slim polished gold uprights are set flush into each side to hold the line between the two, and the whole thing rests on a pale solid ash ring. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your velvet and your print.

Questions About This Armchair
Can I use a plain fabric on the seat instead of the print?
Yes. The two-fabric split is the design, but both halves are your choice. Plain on plain works if you want it quieter; we will show you both made up before we build.
Is the paisley printed or woven?
Printed on a soft-touch cloth, which is what lets the pattern carry that much detail. We match the repeat around the seat so the print does not break at the seam.
What size does the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat come in?
Whatever size your room needs. Nothing here is a fixed catalogue size — the photograph shows one version of the armchair, and we redraw it to your measurements, down to the inch. Send us the room and we take it from there.
Can I change the material or colour?
Yes. The materials shown are our starting point, not a fixed choice. We build the armchair in your wood, stone, metal, leather or fabric, and we show you the real materials and a picture of your finished piece before anything is cut.
How much does the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat cost?
It depends on the size, the material and the finish you choose, so there is no single number to print. Message us your room size on WhatsApp and we send a written quote in Indian rupees. You pay in stages after that — a design fee to begin, then payments as we build.
Who makes this armchair and where?
It is designed by designer Nidhi Patel and built by hand in our own workshop in India. We manufacture — we do not resell or import. That is also why we can change the size and the material for you.
Is delivery of the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat free?
Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.
Is there a minimum order for free delivery on the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat?
No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.

What the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat Is Made Of
Premium velvet upholstery
Soft, durable velvet in a muted sage green, channel-tufted so the back reads as a fan of vertical flutes.
Luxury printed fabric
A grey and gold paisley print with a soft touch, used on the round seat drum so the pattern sits where you see it.
Solid ash wood base
A solid ash ring at the foot for strength and stability, left pale so it lifts the sage above it.
Polished gold metal accents
Slim polished gold uprights set into each side, splitting the channel-tufted back from the seat drum.
Why People Choose This Armchair
Channel tufted back
Vertical channels run the full height of the barrel back, adding comfort and giving the chair its fan shape.
Two fabrics, one chair
Plain sage velvet on the back, a paisley print on the seat drum. The pattern goes where you actually look at it.
Polished gold uprights
Slim metal accents down each side separate the two fabrics and stop the chair reading as one soft lump.
Solid ash base ring
A pale solid wood ring at the foot for strength and stability, and a clean line above the floor.
How the Sage Velvet Barrel Chair with Paisley Seat Is Built
Channel tufting
Each channel is stuffed and stitched individually so the flutes stay even across a curved back.
Print placement
The paisley is cut and matched around the seat drum, so the pattern runs continuously instead of breaking at the seam.
Strong internal frame
A strong internal wooden frame under the upholstery, with expert wood craftsmanship on the visible base ring.
Precise metal workmanship
The polished gold uprights are set flush into the upholstery on both sides, with no gap where they meet the fabric.
Two fabrics doing two jobs. The plain velvet gives the chair its shape and the printed seat gives it its personality, with slim gold uprights holding the line between them.
