What FF&E Means Here, and What It Does Not
FF&E stands for furniture, fixtures and equipment. In India the term has been claimed almost entirely by hotels, so the first useful thing we can tell you is which half of it we are. We are the maker for corporate offices, workplaces and large private homes. We do not take hotel or restaurant work.

Office FF&E Manufacturer in India, Reception to Boardroom
An office fit-out fails at the joins: three vendors, three veneers, three ideas of what “walnut” means. We supply the whole workplace as one package from one building, so the reception desk, the boardroom table and the eighth-floor workstation are the same wood, the same polish and the same hand.

This home was ours from the shell onward. Designatore drew the rooms, made the furniture, chose the stone and the wood, planned the lighting and dressed every space, so the whole house reads as one hand. Designatore builds in its own 80,000 sq ft factory in India, with ten departments under one roof and a team of 130 or more that includes CAD engineers and architects. The company was founded in 2018 by designer Nidhi Patel and is registered as Designatore Luxury Furniture Private Limited, CIN U74109GJ2025PTC161877. There is no outsourced production.

How We Quote an FF&E Package
There is no rate card, because there is no standard line. A quote is built item by item from the material and how much of it the piece consumes, the hours it takes across the departments it passes through, the hardware you specified by make, and the quantity. We quote per project, in writing, in ₹ and $.

Are you a custom FF&E manufacturer in India?
Yes. Designatore is a custom FF&E manufacturer in India for corporate offices, workplaces and large private homes. We take the whole package — loose furniture, fitted joinery, casegoods, seating and the surfaces around them — and design, engineer and build it in our own 80,000 sq ft factory. We do not take hotel or restaurant work.
What does your FF&E scope actually include?
Furniture and the fitted work that surrounds it: reception desks, boardroom and conference tables, executive desks and credenzas, workstations, task and lounge seating, storage and display walls, wardrobes and casegoods, wall panelling, and the loose pieces that finish a room. Lighting fixtures, IT hardware and MEP equipment are not ours — we co-ordinate around them and cut for them.
Do you work from our FF&E schedule and specification?
Yes. Send the schedule, the specification and the drawings in DWG, DXF, PDF, SKP, 3DM or STEP. Our drawing office returns one consolidated query list, then shop drawings per line item for approval — sizes, materials, joints, hardware by make and model, finish per element. Nothing is cut before you sign it.
Can you supply an FF&E package for a whole office fit-out?
Yes. One supplier, one specification, one factory, from the reception a visitor sees first to the workstation on the top floor. Because ten departments sit in one building, the veneer, the leather, the stone and the polish match across the whole package instead of being reconciled between three vendors on site.
Do you take hotel, restaurant or hospitality FF&E?
No. We do not take hotel or restaurant work, and that includes resort, banquet and operator-run serviced-apartment packages. FF&E in India is often assumed to mean hospitality; ours means corporate offices, workplaces and large private homes. We say so on the first call rather than take a project we are not the right maker for.
How is an FF&E package priced, and do you publish rates?
No rates are published, because there is no standard line. A quote is built item by item from the material and how much of it the piece consumes, the hours across the departments it passes through, the hardware you specified by make, and the quantity. We quote per project, in writing, in ₹ and $, with 18% GST as its own line.
Who delivers, installs and snags the package?
Delivery to your site is included and free anywhere in mainland India. Site fixing, levelling and the final scribe are agreed per project and written into the quote before you accept it, because on one job the main contractor owns that scope and on the next we do. You then walk the floor, write a snag list, we close the items and you sign it off.
Can you hold a programme across several floors or phases?
Yes. The programme is committed in the written quote once drawings are approved, and the package is crated and labelled by floor and by room so it lands in the order your fit-out needs. If anything on our side moves, you hear it from us before it costs you a handover date.
Will you sign an NDA, and does our client stay ours?
Yes to both. Send your non-disclosure agreement and we sign it, or ask and we send ours; there is no charge and it does not slow the project. On a trade package the design is yours and the client is yours. We do not approach your client behind you and we publish nothing without your written sign-off.
