Much of our work sits in homes that are photographed by other people for a living. Some clients are public figures; most are families who simply do not want their living room on the internet. We treat both the same way — private until you tell us otherwise, in writing.
The eight promises
- 01
Your home is private until you say otherwise
We do not photograph, post or publish a client's home unless you give written permission for that specific photograph. Not a general line in a contract — permission for that image, granted after you have seen it. Silence is not permission, and an old permission does not cover a new photo.
- 02
Your name is yours to give
We never name a client, a family or an address as a reference without asking. If you would rather be described as 'a private residence in Mumbai', that is what we say. Where we do name a client on this site, it is because they agreed to it.
- 03
The drawings we make for you are not reused
A design drawn for your room is drawn once. We do not resell it, put it in a catalogue, or build the same piece for the next buyer. Where a piece is one of our signature designs, we say so up front, and your version still carries your size, wood and fabric.
- 04
Everyone on your project is bound by this
Designers, carpenters, polishers, upholsterers, drivers and fitters — the whole chain. Site photographs taken to check a fit stay inside the factory, on our own devices, and are deleted when the job closes. Nobody posts your room to a personal account.
- 05
We can sign your paper, or send ours
If your family office, corporate client or architect needs an NDA before drawings are exchanged, send it and we sign it. If you would rather we brought one, ask and we send ours. There is no charge and it does not slow the project.
- 06
Deliveries are discreet
Crates carry a job number, not your name. Our vehicles carry no client branding. If your building needs a fixed window, a service entrance or a specific security desk, tell us and the delivery is planned around it.
- 07
Nothing goes to a marketplace
Your floor plan, your photographs and your measurements are used to build your furniture and for nothing else. They are not sold, not traded, not fed to an advertising platform, and not used to train anything.
- 08
You can withdraw permission
If you once let us show a room and change your mind, tell us. We take it off our site and our social accounts. What has already been reposted by other people is outside our hands, but everything under our control comes down.
If you want it on paper
Everything above applies whether or not anything is signed. If you would rather have it in a document — because a family office, a corporate client or an architect asks for one — say the word and we sign yours or send ours the same week. Ask for a confidentiality agreement, or call +91 94260 73781.
Public figures and named clients
A few clients have agreed to be named, and we show that work with their permission. That is the only reason any client name appears on this site. Nobody is added to the list because the project was impressive, and no name stays up after someone asks for it to come down.
Architects, designers and corporate clients
When we build to your drawings, the drawings stay yours. We do not put your project in our portfolio without your sign-off, we do not approach your client behind you, and we do not reuse a detail you developed on another job. How we work with the trade sets out the rest of it, and how we work with interior designers sets out the designer's side of it.
How this fits with data protection
This pledge is about discretion. The legal side — what personal data we hold, how long we keep it, who processes it and how you have it deleted — is set out in our privacy policy, written under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where the two overlap, the stricter promise applies.
If we ever get this wrong
Tell us and we fix it the same day. Email [email protected] or call +91 94260 73781. A person answers.
