A reception desk is the one piece of furniture in a building that every visitor touches and every photograph shows. Designatore builds it as a manufacturer, not a dealer: your dimensions, your stone or veneer, your brand colours, your hardware, cut and finished in our own factory. The desk is drawn to the lobby it will stand in, so the transaction top clears the walkway and the seated position works for the people who sit there all day.

Yes. We design the desk and lobby seating around your brand's palette and materials, so the reception looks like it belongs to no one else.
How big a reception can Designatore furnish?
Any size, from a single small-office desk to a large corporate lobby with multiple waiting zones.
Are you a reception desk manufacturer, or a reseller?
A manufacturer. Designatore draws, engineers, builds, finishes and checks every reception desk inside its own 80,000 sq ft factory in India, then delivers it to your lobby. Nothing is bought in finished and rebadged, which is why we can change a radius, a height or a stone by 20mm on a drawing rather than telling you a catalogue does not do that.
What sizes and heights do you build a reception desk to?
To your lobby, not to a standard. The usual arrangement is a 1100mm to 1150mm high transaction top over a 740mm to 760mm high work surface behind it, with at least one section dropped to about 800mm so a wheelchair user is served at the same desk. Length, depth, radius and the number of seated positions all follow your plan.
Can you route power, data and a screen through the desk?
Yes, and it is decided on the drawing rather than on site. We cut for power and data at the seated positions, run cabling inside the carcass to a managed exit, and rebate for a visitor screen, a logo panel or a card reader where you want one. Tell us the make and model of the hardware and we cut for that hardware.
How does a reception desk get into a finished lobby?
It is designed to. We ask for the service lift, the staircase turn and the door leaf before we quote, and where the piece cannot travel whole we design the break lines into it — jointed on site so the joint lands where the eye does not. Delivery is free anywhere in mainland India, and site fixing is agreed in writing before you accept the quote.
Is delivery free?
Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver your piece to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.
Is there a minimum order for free delivery?
No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.
