A reception is judged in about four seconds, so we build the counter and the wall behind it together. The desk curves out to meet visitors, clad in a dark textured finish that hides fingerprints, capped with a white stone counter and lined in brass at the floor. Behind it, brass chevrons are inlaid into marble and polished flush. Staff get proper knee space, sockets and a lockable drawer run on the inside. Made to your lobby, stone and brand, by hand in India.
