Every piece we make is delivered to your door across India at no charge, at any order value, with the crate, the transit cover, the e-way bill and the GST on all of it paid by us. The islands are the one exception — they sail, and they are billed at actual cost. Everywhere else, the only number left is how long it takes.

Moving furniture in India is genuinely expensive, because road carriers bill the space a crate takes and not what it weighs. A crated three-seater sofa weighs about 95 kg but fills 66 cubic feet, and it is billed as though it weighed five times more. That is why a delivery charge on a sofa to Delhi or Bengaluru usually lands in the thousands.
We make every piece in our own Gujarat factory and sell it to you directly. There is no showroom chain, no dealer margin and no importer between us, and the freight fits inside what that saves. Prices did not move when delivery became free — the delivery line simply stopped existing.

How much does furniture delivery cost in India?
With Designatore it costs nothing. Delivery is free to every pincode in mainland India, at every order value, with no minimum and no surcharge for a long lane, a hill road or a remote district. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep are the one exception: they move by sea and are billed at actual cost. Elsewhere in the market a single crated sofa moved 1,000–1,500 km by road usually runs ₹7,000–₹12,000 once freight, fuel adjustment, transit cover and GST are added, and remote destinations run higher still. We pay that so you do not see it.
Is delivery really free, or is it hidden in the price?
It is a real cost that we carry. We make every piece ourselves in Gujarat and sell it to you directly, with no showroom chain and no dealer margin in between, so the freight fits inside what we already save. Our prices did not go up when delivery became free — the same piece costs the same as it did, and the delivery line simply disappeared from the invoice.
Does free delivery cover the whole of India?
All of mainland India — every state and union territory on the mainland, city or village, first order or fiftieth. That includes the places carriers charge most for: the Kashmir valley, Ladakh, Manipur and the rest of the North East. The two island union territories are the exception. Cargo to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep sails on the government schedule at a per-package tariff no road carrier touches, so those orders are billed at actual cost — what the shipping line charges us, passed on with nothing added.
How long does furniture delivery take in India?
We give you the date in writing with your quote, and we do not publish one before that. Everything we make is built to your specification, so the size, the materials, the carving and the finish decide how long your piece takes — a number quoted before we know what we are building would be a guess, and we would rather commit to a date we can keep than advertise one we cannot. Once your design is approved, you get a timeline for making and for the road, and we tell you when it changes.
What does free delivery include?
The crate, the road freight to your door, transit cover for the full value of the piece, all the paperwork including the e-way bill, and the GST on all of it. There is no delivery line on your invoice at all.
What is not covered?
Two things, and we say them before you order rather than on the day. Cargo to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep travels by sea and is billed at actual cost. And delivery outside India is quoted separately, because export freight, duty and customs clearing depend on your port.
Is there a minimum order for free delivery?
No. One bedside table is delivered free on the same terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, anywhere in mainland India. Nothing here is a catalogue size either — the crate is built around your finished piece, so a bigger piece does not become a delivery charge.
What is the GST on furniture delivery charges?
18% when delivery is billed, the same rate as the furniture, because a seller who also moves the goods is making a composite supply under section 8(a) of the CGST Act. We do not bill delivery at all, so there is no delivery GST on your invoice. The furniture itself is taxed as normal.
Who pays for the e-way bill?
We do, and there is nothing for you to do. Indian rules require an e-way bill for any consignment worth more than ₹50,000 including GST, and the obligation sits with us as the registered manufacturer causing the movement. It is part of the free delivery, not an extra.
Do you deliver furniture outside India?
Yes, worldwide, with export packing and documents handled by us — but that one is priced, not free. Tell us the delivery city or port and we quote the furniture and the freight together, so you see the landed number before you commit.
