Can I have these chairs in another fabric?

Yes. The velvets, prints and embroidered panels shown are starting points. We make the chair in your fabric and colour, and we show you the real material before we build.

Do the swivel chairs lock in position?

The base shown turns freely, which is what most people want beside a fireplace or a window. If you would rather it returned to face forward, say so and we fit a return mechanism.

Are these comfortable enough to actually sit in?

Yes. Every one is built on high-density foam over a solid frame, not thin padding over a shell. They are made to be used daily, not to be looked at from across the room.
