Hourglass Drum Side Table
Matte taupe leather or solid wood · polished metal collar · brass base trim
Most side tables are an afterthought. This one is the reason the corner works. Two cones meet at a stacked metal collar polished to a mirror, above a soft circular top you can set a glass on without thinking. We build it wrapped in matte taupe leather, hand-stitched down the seam, or carved in solid wood so the grain fans out across the facets — and a pair looks better mismatched than matched. A brushed metal trim runs round the foot where the floor reaches it. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your leather, your wood and your height.

Questions About This Side Table
Can I order one in leather and one in wood?
Yes, and we would suggest it. The photograph shows exactly that pairing. Two identical tables read as a matched set; one of each reads as a room someone actually collected.
How do I clean a leather-wrapped table?
Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth as soon as anything spills. Skip solvents and alcohol wipes — they strip the matte finish. Keep it out of direct all-day sun, which fades leather faster than any amount of use.
What size does the Hourglass Drum Side Table come in?
Whatever size your room needs. Nothing here is a fixed catalogue size — the photograph shows one version of the side table, and we redraw it to your measurements, down to the inch. Send us the room and we take it from there.
Can I change the material or colour?
Yes. The materials shown are our starting point, not a fixed choice. We build the side table in your wood, stone, metal, leather or fabric, and we show you the real materials and a picture of your finished piece before anything is cut.
How much does the Hourglass Drum Side Table cost?
It depends on the size, the material and the finish you choose, so there is no single number to print. Message us your room size on WhatsApp and we send a written quote in Indian rupees. You pay in stages after that — a design fee to begin, then payments as we build.
Who makes this side table and where?
It is designed by designer Nidhi Patel and built by hand in our own workshop in India. We manufacture — we do not resell or import. That is also why we can change the size and the material for you.
Is delivery of the Hourglass Drum Side Table free?
Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver the Hourglass Drum Side Table to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.
Is there a minimum order for free delivery on the Hourglass Drum Side Table?
No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.

What the Hourglass Drum Side Table Is Made Of
Matte taupe leather-wrapped
Finely wrapped in taupe leather with a soft matte finish, hand-finished with precision stitching down the seam.
Pure solid wood / veneer
Rich natural wood with expressive grain, cut into a faceted cone so the figure runs outward from the centre of the top.
Polished metal collar
Stacked metal rings in a high-polish finish at the waist. They give the piece its structure and its contrast.
Metal base trim
A subtle brushed metal trim runs around the foot, protecting the edge where the floor and the cleaning cloth reach it.
Why People Choose This Side Table
Sculpted faceted form
Two cones meeting at a metal waist. It reads as a sculpture from across the room and as a table when you need to put a glass down.
Two finishes, one shape
The same form is built in leather and in solid wood, so a pair can be matched or deliberately mismatched.
Circular top
A smooth circular top with a soft edge finish. No corners to catch a hip on in a narrow bar or beside a sofa.
Hand-finished detail
The leather seam and the metal collar are finished by hand, which is what keeps a bold geometric shape from looking machine-made.
How the Hourglass Drum Side Table Is Built
Leather wrapping
The taupe leather is stretched and stitched over the cone by hand, so the seam sits dead straight down the fall of the shape.
Faceted wood geometry
Expertly carved geometry that enhances the natural grain and gives the piece a striking architectural presence.
Stacked metal collar
The rings are turned and polished, then set so the waist takes the weight of the top without a visible fixing.
An hourglass held at the waist. The point is the contrast — soft matte leather against high-polish metal, or warm grain against a bright brass ring — in a form small enough to move and strong enough to notice.
