This is not a cabinet with a decorative arch stuck on it. The roof is built as real Mangalore tiling in a terracotta matte finish, topped with a brass kalash; the four pillars are hand-turned in solid wood to a classic temple profile; and the back panel carries a hand-applied metallic texture in a radiant pattern that throws lamp light back around your idols at aarti. The platform is premium natural stone in a soft cream, which takes oil, ghee and camphor without staining the way wood does. Below it, carved doors and drawers with antique brass ring handles hold the thali, the lamps, the cotton and the books. Made by hand in our India workshop, to your wall and your niche.

Will the stone platform stain from oil and camphor?
Far less than wood. The natural stone is sealed, and oil wipes off it. Camphor should still be burned in a proper holder rather than directly on the stone.
Can this be built to fit an existing niche?
Yes. Send us the niche measurements — height, width and depth, plus any beam or ledge — and we draw the mandir to sit inside it properly.
