The seat drum below is a burgundy floral jacquard — woven, not printed, so the blooms are built into the cloth and will not wear off where you sit — cut and matched so the pattern runs unbroken all the way round. A matte brushed brass ring at the foot holds the whole thing clear of the rug. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your velvet and your weave.
