Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror
Hand-carved oval frame · lattice side panels · hand-applied metallic finish
A dressing mirror is furniture, not glass in a frame, and this one is built that way. The oval is carved with a floral motif right around its edge and set between two side supports filled with a pierced geometric lattice — the signature detail, and the reason it looks like something rather than a mirror on a stand. The finish is built up in multiple hand-applied layers with a subtle metallic sheen, so it has depth instead of looking sprayed. Inside is a seasoned, engineered wood structure with a sturdy back and secure fastenings, which is what lets it hold its angle without a wall fixing, and the glass is high-clarity with a long-life backing so there is no distortion. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your size and your finish.

Questions About This Mirror
Does it need to be fixed to a wall?
No. It is free-standing on a stepped moulding base with a structural back, so it holds its own angle. If you have small children, we can supply a discreet anti-tip strap.
Can I have a different frame finish?
Yes. The hand-applied metallic taupe shown is one option among many. Tell us the tone your dressing room needs and we finish it to match.
What size does the Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror come in?
Whatever size your room needs. Nothing here is a fixed catalogue size — the photograph shows one version of the mirror, and we redraw it to your measurements, down to the inch. Send us the room and we take it from there.
Can I change the material or colour?
Yes. The materials shown are our starting point, not a fixed choice. We build the mirror in your wood, stone, metal, leather or fabric, and we show you the real materials and a picture of your finished piece before anything is cut.
How much does the Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror cost?
It depends on the size, the material and the finish you choose, so there is no single number to print. Message us your room size on WhatsApp and we send a written quote in Indian rupees. You pay in stages after that — a design fee to begin, then payments as we build.
Who makes this mirror and where?
It is designed by designer Nidhi Patel and built by hand in our own workshop in India. We manufacture — we do not resell or import. That is also why we can change the size and the material for you.
Is delivery of the Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror free?
Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver the Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.
Is there a minimum order for free delivery on the Oval Carved Cheval Dressing Mirror?
No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.
