Centre Tables — Your Questions, Answered

What size centre table should I choose?

As a rule, make the table about two thirds the length of your sofa, and leave 40 to 45 cm between the sofa edge and the table so people can walk past and still reach a cup. Send us your sofa size and room plan and we draw it to fit.

Is the stone on these centre tables real?

Yes. Every stone top here is natural stone or hand-set semi-precious stone, cut and polished in our workshop. Because it is natural, the pattern on your table will not be identical to the photograph — that is the point of it.

Can I get a nesting pair instead of one table?

Yes. Two of the tables here are made as nesting pairs, and any of the others can be built as a pair. Nesting works well in a smaller living room because you can pull the second piece out only when you need it.

How do I care for a stone or inlay top?

Wipe spills straight away and use a mild, non-acidic cleaner. No vinegar, no lime, no bathroom sprays. Coasters under wet glasses keep rings off a polished surface.
