A wing chair is the one seat in the house that belongs to somebody. Ours are built on solid frames in full-grain leather with hand-buttoned backs, hand-applied brass nailheads and sculpted metal legs, made by hand in India in your leather and your colour.

What is a wing chair actually for?
The wings were built to keep a draught off your neck and hold the heat of a fire in front of you. That is still what they do, which is why a wing chair works beside a fireplace, in a study or in a bedroom corner far better than a low armchair does.
Can I have a wing chair in fabric instead of leather?
Yes. Leather is what we photographed, not a fixed choice. We build the same frame in velvet, linen or your own cloth, and we show you the real material before anything is cut.
Can you make a matching pair or a footstool?
Yes. Wing chairs are often ordered as a pair either side of a fireplace, and we build a matching ottoman in the same leather so the set actually matches instead of nearly matching.
Is the buttoning done by hand?
Yes. Every button on the back is pulled and tied off by hand so the folds fall the same way across the whole back. A machine-pressed grid is faster and it always looks it.
