This is the unit for a room with dark walls. The top is a deep brown semi-precious stone with pale crystalline breaks running through it, rounded at the edge so a heavy slab reads softer and chips less. Six drawer fronts across the centre are wrapped by hand in taupe leather, which is warmer to look at and to touch than any painted front, and both ends are deeply fluted solid wood finished in warm metallic bronze so every rib catches a highlight. Three materials in one piece is usually one too many — it works here because everything is held to a single strict horizontal line. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your wall length.
