Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk

Italian marble body · hand-laid selenite radial front · brushed gold trim

A reception desk is the first thing a visitor touches, which makes it the first thing worth spending on. The front of this one is a radial sunburst of selenite — hundreds of hand-selected pieces of semi-precious stone, each cut to fit its own place in the arc and aligned so the joints disappear. It is the slowest part of the build and the reason the desk looks the way it does. Around it sits a body in rich brown Italian marble with white and gold veining, cut with 45 degree mitres so the pattern runs continuously round every corner, and finished in the same marble at the back for lobbies seen from both sides. Brushed gold trims the base. Made by hand in our India workshop, to your lobby.

?Questions

Questions About This Reception Desk

Can you make this as a curve or an L-shape?

Yes. The straight counter shown is one layout. Send us the lobby plan and we draw the shape the space actually needs, including the working surface behind.

Is there a lower working surface behind the counter?

Yes. We build the visitor-facing counter at about 110 cm and the working surface behind it at about 75 cm, as one piece, so the desk stays tidy from the front.

What is selenite?

A semi-precious stone in soft beige and ivory tones with a natural fibrous structure that catches light. Cut thin and laid radially, it throws light outward from the centre, which is why the front glows under a downlight.

What size does the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk come in?

Whatever size your room needs. Nothing here is a fixed catalogue size — the photograph shows one version of the reception desk, and we redraw it to your measurements, down to the inch. Send us the room and we take it from there.

Can I change the material or colour?

Yes. The materials shown are our starting point, not a fixed choice. We build the reception desk in your wood, stone, metal, leather or fabric, and we show you the real materials and a picture of your finished piece before anything is cut.

How much does the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk cost?

It depends on the size, the material and the finish you choose, so there is no single number to print. Message us your room size on WhatsApp and we send a written quote in Indian rupees. You pay in stages after that — a design fee to begin, then payments as we build.

Who makes this reception desk and where?

It is designed by designer Nidhi Patel and built by hand in our own workshop in India. We manufacture — we do not resell or import. That is also why we can change the size and the material for you.

Is delivery of the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk free?

Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.

Is there a minimum order for free delivery on the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk?

No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.

Why this piece

Why People Choose This Reception Desk

Radial selenite mosaic

Hundreds of selenite pieces cut and placed in a concentric sunburst by hand. It is the whole reason this desk exists.

Continuous marble veining

The Italian marble top and sides are cut so the veining runs continuously around the corner, not restarted at each face.

Precision 45 degree joins

A clean edge profile with mitred joins, so the marble reads as a solid block rather than panels on a box.

Finished on the back

The rear face is finished in the same Italian marble, so the desk holds up when a lobby is seen from both sides.

Craftsmanship

How the Selenite and Italian Marble Reception Desk Is Built

Intricate radial pattern

Meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, with each selenite piece cut to fit its own place in the arc.

Precision-aligned stone inlay

Seamless joints across the whole panel, so the surface reads flat and the pattern never breaks.

Brushed gold base

A metal base and trim for strength and a touch of elegance where the desk meets the floor.

Design inspiration

The first thing a visitor touches, so it is the first thing worth spending on. Natural stone, marble and metal — crafted to perfection, and built to make a lobby feel like the company means it.
