The whole front of this piece is carved. Not a border, not an inset panel — every drawer and every door, in shifting geometric blocks cut by hand into premium veneer. It takes a long time and it is the reason the piece changes completely depending on where the light is coming from. Everything else is kept deliberately plain so the carving can work: slim recessed metal pulls instead of decorative handles, clean sides, and a brushed gold plinth that lifts the mass off the floor. Behind the fronts is real storage, drawers and cupboards, so a decorative piece still earns its wall. Made by hand in our India workshop, in your length and your carving pattern.

Is the carving done by hand or machine?
By hand. That is why the blocks are not perfectly identical and why the surface catches light the way it does. A CNC-cut version would be cheaper and it would look it.
Can I choose a different carving pattern?
Yes. The geometric blocks shown are one language among several. Tell us the room and we will draw two or three options before anything is cut.
What is behind the carved fronts?
Drawers and cupboard space. Tell us what you need to store — table linen, crockery, bar bottles — and we plan the internal divisions around it before we build the outside.
