Is the block print really done by hand?
Yes. Carved wooden blocks are inked and pressed onto the cloth one repeat at a time. You can see the slight variation in the register if you look closely — that is the mark of the process, not a fault.
Can I hang curtains from the canopy frame?
Yes. Tell us before we build and we set the frame up to carry a rod or rings, which needs different fixings at the top rails than a bare canopy does.
Will a four poster suit a normal ceiling height?
In most Indian homes, yes — standard ceilings are 10 feet or more and the canopy sits well below that. Send us your ceiling height with the room plan and we set the post height to leave the right gap.
