The whole back is one carved mandala: concentric rings of lotus and vine worked out from a single centre flower, cut by hand over several weeks. Because the carving is that strong we kept everything else plain — a beaded surround, a clear white platform for the idols, and two flush drawers below for lamps, wicks and prasad. The ivory finish keeps the room bright rather than heavy. Made to your niche size, carving and finish, by hand in India.
