Mustard velvet seat and bolster · decorated brass chain · concealed steel top railMost flats have no beam to hang a jhula from. We solve that with a slim steel top rail fixed across the ceiling and hidden in the recess, so the brass chains drop cleanly and the load is spread across the slab instead of one point. A jhula is a bench seat for two or three people, hung on chains or cables. A hanging swing chair is a single seat. We make both, to your span and fabric.
Can a swing be used on an open terrace?
Yes. We use seasoned teak and lacquered brass so the wood and metal hold up outdoors, and we finish the timber for sun and rain.
