Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing

Solid teak seat frame · cast brass chain and hooks · honeycomb-quilted velvet cushioning

The chain is the part people forget. Ours is cast in brass with a decorated link, rated well past what the seat and two adults need, and finished so it does not green over in the rain. The seat is solid teak with a pierced back panel, and the cushions are honeycomb-quilted in mustard velvet — a colour that reads warm against night lighting. Hooks, chain and fitting come with it. Made to your span and fabric, by hand in India.

Made to order in your size, your fabric and your colour. We show you the materials and a picture of your piece before we build a thing — then it is made by hand in India and delivered to your door.

?Questions

Questions About This Piece

Can I get the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing in a different colour or fabric?

Yes. The Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing shown is our starting point, not a fixed choice. We make it in your fabric, your wood, your stone and your colour — we show you the real materials and a picture of your piece before we build it.

Is the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing made to my size?

Yes. Nothing here is a fixed catalogue size. We build the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing to your room and your measurements, so it fits with no gaps — down to the inch.

How much does the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing cost and how do I pay?

It is made to order, so the price depends on the size, materials and finish you choose. You pay in steps — a small design fee to start, then stage payments as we build. Send us your space for a quote in ₹ or $.

Where is the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing made and can you deliver to me?

Every Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing is designed by Nidhi Patel and built by hand in our own workshop in India. Delivery to your door is free across India, fully crated, insured and tax paid. It suits a living room and any space you place it in. Outside India we deliver worldwide, quoted per port.

Is delivery of the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing free?

Yes, and it stays free — no end date, no minimum. We deliver the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing to your door anywhere in mainland India, crate, freight, transit cover, e-way bill and GST included. Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep go by sea at actual cost; outside India is quoted per port.

Is there a minimum order for free delivery on the Mustard Honeycomb Teak Swing?

No. There is no minimum, no remote-area fee and no fuel surcharge. One bedside table travels on the same free terms as a twelve-piece bedroom, to Mumbai or to Leh, and the crate is built around your finished piece.

Can a jhula be fitted in a flat with no beam?

Yes. We fix a slim steel rail across the ceiling and hide it in the recess, so the load spreads across the slab instead of one point. The chain then drops cleanly from the rail.

Do you supply the chain, hooks and fitting?

Yes. Cast brass chain, hooks, anchor plates and the installation are all part of the job — you do not source anything separately.

What is the difference between a jhula and a hanging swing chair?

A jhula is a bench seat for two or three people, hung on chains or cables. A hanging swing chair is a single seat. We make both, to your span and fabric.

Can a swing be used on an open terrace?

Yes. We use seasoned teak and lacquered brass so the wood and metal hold up outdoors, and we finish the timber for sun and rain.
