The left end is a traditional bombé: bowed on the front and both sides, carved in acanthus scroll and finished in antique silver leaf. The right end is stepped panels of smoked bronze mirror and brushed metal, with not a curve on it. Joining them takes a straight, honest seam and the nerve to leave it visible. The result is a piece that suits a classical room and a modern one at the same time. Made to your length, carving and finish, by hand in India.
