The X-frame is the difficult part: it is polished brass, bent and welded in one plane so the chair never rocks on an uneven floor. On top of it, cream leather cushions are tufted into deep squares and hand-stitched at every button. It sits low and wide, which is why it works in a foyer where people perch rather than settle. Made in your leather and metal finish, by hand in India.
